WOW is a unique showcase of films by women, a unique perspective of the world through women’s eyes.

WOW promotes and awards the talents of women filmmakers in many creative roles. Awards in the 2012 competition will include best director, best writer, best cinematographer, best editor and best music composition for eligible films.

The 18th WOW Film Festival 2012 aims to be a festival of discovery, celebration, debate, networking and an inspiration for new work.

While especially showcasing films by Australian women, the 18th WOW Film Festival will also screen international films.
